Welcome to Lakehouse & Co. By booking and staying at our property, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are intended to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all guests, while helping us maintain the quality and care of this lakehouse.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A reservation at Lakehouse & Co. is confirmed once a 50% booking deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. All rates are listed in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. At this time, Interac e-Transfer is the accepted method of payment.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

Check-in begins after 4:00 PM, and check-out is required by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. These times allow our team to properly prepare the home for incoming guests. Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed and must be approved in advance.

OCCUPANCY

Lakehouse & Co. is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 8 overnight guests. This limit must be respected at all times. Exceeding the maximum occupancy is not permitted and may result in additional charges or termination of the stay.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A $1,500 security deposit is required for all bookings. This deposit will be refunded within 7 days of check-out, following inspection of the property, provided there is no damage, excessive cleaning required, or violation of these Terms & Conditions.

CANCELLATIONS

All reservations are subject to a Moderate cancellation policy. Full details regarding cancellations and applicable refunds are provided at the time of booking and apply to all stays.

PETS

For the comfort of all guests and to maintain the condition of the home, pets are not permitted anywhere on the property. Bringing an unauthorized pet may result in additional cleaning fees and possible termination of the stay without refund.

SMOKING

Lakehouse & Co. is a non-smoking property, including all indoor and outdoor areas. This policy applies to cigarettes, cigars, vaping, and cannabis. Any evidence of smoking may result in additional cleaning or remediation fees.

PROPERTY CARE

We ask that guests treat the lakehouse with care and respect. Please notify us promptly if any damage occurs or if something is not functioning as expected during your stay. Guests may be held responsible for the repair or replacement of damaged items beyond normal wear and tear. Upon departure, the home should be left in a reasonable and tidy condition.

HOT TUB

The covered hot tub is available for guest use year-round. Guests use the hot tub at their own risk, and children must be supervised at all times. Glass is not permitted in or around the hot tub area. Please follow all posted guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

FIREPLACE & FIRE PIT

Firewood is provided for guest use. Fires must never be left unattended, and guests are expected to follow all local fire regulations and seasonal restrictions. Improper use of fireplaces or fire pits may result in additional charges.

WATERFRONT & OUTDOOR AREAS

The property offers direct waterfront access and a private dock. All outdoor amenities, including watercraft and dock access, are used at the guest’s own risk. Children must be supervised at all times near the water. Life jackets are provided and strongly recommended.

LIABILITY

Lakehouse & Co. Muskoka is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings that may occur during your stay. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept all risks associated with a waterfront and four-season property, including weather-related conditions and natural surroundings.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to terminate a stay without refund if these Terms & Conditions are violated, including but not limited to exceeding occupancy limits, smoking, bringing pets, or engaging in unsafe or disruptive behavior.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
